THE CHALLENGE

Fluxys is an energy infrastructure company with more than 1,000 employees and many external collaborators working on its sites. Each of them must complete safety training to comply with market and safety requirements.

This training was previously given in PowerPoint sessions. However, the language barrier made it difficult to deliver clear and consistent instructions to everyone. Many workers spoke different languages, and trainers could not always communicate safety information in a language they mastered. As a result, there was no guarantee that all collaborators received the same message or fully understood the instructions.

The process was also time-consuming and manual. Because the company did not know in advance who would execute the work, it was impossible to maintain a user database or verify completion efficiently.

Fluxys was looking for a solution to ensure that external workers both understood and completed mandatory safety training before arriving on-site, and to centrally verify who had completed the training without depending on a single individual to do the checks.
