It’s clear that L&D teams face different challenges. Half of the L&D professionals in our survey are faced with budget constraints for implementing new learning initiatives. That’s a pity, because implementing some trends will require even more investment (think off VR and AR learning activities). Nevertheless, some technologies, such as AI supported learning platforms could make it easier for professionals to update their existing content into new learning activities, with new examples and new features.

In addition, it’s clear that AI in general is hot and trending. Two-third of respondents claim that AI skills are necessary to be developed within the workforce. As AI is changing the way we work, employees need to learn how to work with it as well. This doesn’t only count for employees in general, but L&D processes are changed by implementing AI as well. A well thought implementation of AI supported processes within your course creation, for example, can boost your efficiency. However, you should not yet expect miracles to happen.
