A Taste of Learning sets sail

Step aboard for a day built around two things: real stories and real debate. Hear how Mediq built learning that works across 14 countries, then jump into a live session where the room argues out what's actually working in L&D right now, not theory, not slides.

P.S. Our crew is still charting the course and mixing the perfect e-Learning cocktail below deck. The rest of the program will be revealed in the upcoming weeks!

I have been working as a policy officer for five years, focusing on the strategic development of the learning and development environment within the Lifeguard Association. I believe we can create a culture of continuous development for everyone, from young to old and from beginners to experienced professionals. My passion lies in creating the right environment for this and driving the changes needed to make it happen. I focus on the opportunities available, how we can prepare the organization for them, and how we can keep the human side at the heart of the process: how can we do this together?

🎤 Sharing knowledge is multiplying knowledge with Marlène Wolf-Bergijk from Mediq

How do you build learning that works across countries, teams, and changing business needs?

In this session, Marlène shares Mediq's learning journey and reflects on the challenges, successes, and lessons learned along the way. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in L&D, she'll discuss what worked, what didn't, and how the role of learning is evolving. She reflects on the lessons learned for herself, for the organization, and for the future of the L&D profession. Her story perfectly reflects her personal motto: "Sharing knowledge is multiplying knowledge."

🎤 Challenge the future of Learning & Development

This session runs on provocations, not facts. AI will replace instructional designers. Self-study doesn't work without accountability. A 50-person company and a 5,000-person company need nothing alike when it comes to e-Learning.

Agree? Disagree? Let's hear it. This is a fully interactive session, no lecture, no slides to sit through, just a room full of L&D peers debating these claims and deciding together.

You'll walk away with a sharper take on the decisions you're already facing, and a network of people wrestling with the exact same questions.

🎤 From Training to Lifelong Learning with Jelle Zweers from Reddingsbrigade Nederland

How do you ensure people keep learning and developing when your organization relies on volunteers, spans different generations, and consists of independent associations? Jelle Zweers from Reddingsbrigade Nederland takes you inside the unique learning environment of the Dutch Lifeguard Association.

Moving from one-off training to continuous learning and development: what does that require from an organization and the people within it? A real-world story about learning, engagement, and the challenge of keeping everyone on board.
