Business Development Representative
FLOWSPARKS & e-Learning Services

 

A challenging job with many responsibilities to keep the sales pipeline up and running and a great opportunity to highlight and further develop your BDR skills.

 

Your Role

As a BDR…

  • You are responsible for bringing in quality leads. By contacting the right persona at different enterprises, you identify possible sales opportunities by uncovering the customer’s needs & triggering them to have a call with an account executive.
  • You’re proud of the opportunities you create. Think about it, you’re the key to Flowsparks revenue!
  • You will identify target companies. Through targeted actions, you ensure that the sales pipeline of the CRM is constantly filled with potential new customers. Here you do not always fall back into the same pattern (e-mail, telephone), but you are open-minded to use new channels (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, …).
  • You know exactly how to deal with criticism or negative comments. Using well-founded arguments, you can win over prospects. If it’s not going well, you persevere and you continue moving to the next opportunity. Resilience is key.
  • You want to be coached & you want to learn. You’re open to positive criticism and strive to be a high performer.
  • You believe in meritocracy. The more you work, the more opportunities you create & the more you will get paid.

What do we expect from you?

As a BDR you have…

  • A warm personality; you know how to win the trust of our prospects and you are their point of contact and the signpost of FLOWSPARKS. The key is to listen and be empathic. You represent the FLOWSPARKS brand beyond the Business Development team.
  • A start-up/scale-up mentality. You must value the people you work with, as your colleagues will value you.
  • An interest in technology, innovation & change. You want to make a difference.

But also…

  • You are an energetic, dynamic professional who is working or aspires to work in a fast-growing and goal-oriented environment. Experience in sales & SaaS is valued, but not required as long as you’re willing to work, learn & develop your skills.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills and you want to further develop.
  • You excel in time management; for example, you are very good at prioritizing opportunities.
  • Your knowledge of English is excellent.
  • Dutch and French are valued but not required.

And last but not least…

  • Proactive, results-oriented, and perfectly able to work independently under ‘high’ pressure.
  • Problem-solving thinking. And that may preferably be ‘out of the box’.
