Sterk van Start with Annelies Martijn and Jill Marsé
How do we ensure that every coach-trainer and instructor possesses the basic skills for safely and enjoyably guiding youth athletes? In this session, we will introduce you to Sterk van Start: an accessible e-Learning program that supports sports personnel in creating a safe sports environment, promoting sports enjoyment, and managing difficult situations.
In collaboration with sports associations and other partners, NOC*NSF is working on a shared foundation for competent sports personnel. Through a combination of training and coaching, we are gradually building a strong foundation where each staff member develops the right competencies to effectively guide athletes. At the same time, there is room for sport-specific deepening, ensuring that the approach aligns with practice and has maximum impact towards 2032.
More details on the speakers and agenda will be shared soon.
