Ghent, January 8th, 2026 – Two Ghent-based tech companies, FLOWSPARKS and Azumuta, are joining forces. With this partnership, they aim to support manufacturing organizations by seamlessly connecting digital work instructions with powerful learning solutions.

Azumuta, known for its connected worker platform with digital work instructions, skillsmatrix, and quality assurance, and FLOWSPARKS, a specialist in digital learning programs and learning platforms, offer complementary solutions. Together, they can help companies train employees faster, more consistently, and more efficiently.

Complementary strengths

While Azumuta focuses on step-by-step, practical instructions for the shop floor, the FLOWSPARKS Authoring Tool enables broader learning paths in which those instructions are embedded. This creates an integrated learning experience: from carrying out a task to developing full competencies.

The integration of both platforms makes it possible to use work instructions from Azumuta as activities within the FLOWSPARKS environment. At the same time, companies maintain reporting and the skills matrix within Azumuta, while FLOWSPARKS provides the learning experience and follow-up.

Benefits for the industrial sector

Both companies have a strong customer base in the industrial sector, where the importance of accurate instructions and effective training is critical. Through this partnership, organizations gain access to a solution that supports both the hands-on reality of the shop floor and the broader needs around learning and development. For example, streamlining the onboarding of new operators, standardizing work instructions, and ensuring consistent quality checks across production lines.

“As a Ghent-based company with extensive experience in the industrial sector, we know how important it is to work with partners who truly understand what happens on the shop floor,” says Cédric Herregodts, CEO of FLOWSPARKS.
“By joining forces with Azumuta, we combine their practical, hands-on approach with FLOWSPARKS’ expertise FLOW in digital learning. This allows us to help teams train faster and more effectively.”
“Training on the shop floor needs to be fast, practical, and effective. By integrating with FLOWSPARKS, we’re making it easier for manufacturers to bridge the gap between step-by-step work instructions and broader learning programs. This partnership brings real value to teams on the ground,” says Batist Leman, CEO of Azumuta.

A logical collaboration

This collaboration is a logical step: both companies are headquartered in Ghent, active in the technology sector, and often meet at the same trade shows and with mutual customers. The partnership paves the way for joint projects and a stronger presence in manufacturing.
